The real challenge: establishing an online presence in major European marketplaces

The Group owns 15 trademarks:Morellato, Sector No Limits, Philip Watch, Lucien Rochat, Live Diamond, Oui&Me, La Petite Story, Chronostar and FAVS, in addition to the retail brands Bluespirit, CHRIST, Brinckmann & Lange, Cleor, D’Amante and Noélie

It also has seven licensed brands: Karl Lagerfeld, Maserati, Chiara Ferragni,Trussardi, Esprit, Jette and Guido Maria Kretschmer.

“Development of existing markets and testing of new opportunities were undoubtedly the reasons for the project Morellato Group wished to implement. Finding  a quick, scalable and high quality way to increase our presence in the marketplaces was the real challenge.”

Finally, to improve its processes, it needed to find a tool with the greatest possible flexibility, able to adapt to its existing IT system.

Lectra’s response with Neteven

Lectra was able to meet Morellato Group’s needs with Neteven – the solution for marketplace sales management, which can strengthen brands’ positioning and improve the entire digital journey.

Neteven provides a complete marketplace management solution. Through its SaaS platform, brands can monitor and analyze their business, products, orders and best sellers to optimize sales performance.

The platform is used to organize digital retail activity in the world’s main marketplaces and accelerate Direct-to-Consumer business in a flexible and scalable way to increase sales.

With Lectra’s solution, the Group gained quick access to Europe’s key markets and managed to increase its digital presence and create more personalized offers for consumers, increasing sales by 110% in 2024 compared to the previous year.

I’m delighted to say that the results so far have exceeded our initial targets. In addition to the solution, which fully meets our requirements, I also believe the team spirit between the teams from Lectra and the Morellato Group played a crucial role. They worked together really well as partners, almost as colleagues, during the project’s implementation and roll-out. The skill and dedication of the Neteven team, combined with its international approach, were exactly what we were looking for. Our aim was precisely to further unlock the Group’s potential by reaching new countries and markets.”
